I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
